Summer Camps

There must be at least four people enrolled in each camp for it to take place. Camps are liable to cancellation up to one week beforehand.

Military Families take an additional 20%.

Individual Camps must be paid in full before the start day of camp.

Musical Theater Camp

 

Ages 6-18 years old are welcome to participate.

Dates: This camp takes place over two weeks: Monday to Friday, June 18-22, and Monday to Friday, June 25-29.

 

Camp includes ballet, voice, theater, and art instruction in addition to an end of camp Summer Showcase on Friday, June 29, at 6:00 pm. The Showcase will feature numbers from a variety of shows. Our qualified and experienced instructors include Mrs. Judy Klatt, and Mr. Billy Morrozoff.

 

 

Arrival 8:45-9:00 am.

9:00-10:30 Ballet Technique and Conditioning Class.

10 min break with snack.

10:40-11:40 Group Vocal Instruction with Billy Morrozoff.

5 min break.

11:45-12:10 Intro. To Acting and Stage Basics

12:10-12:40 Lunch Break. Meals not provided. Please brown bag lunch.

12:40-1:40 Choreography (Theatrical Broadway Dance)

5 min Break

1:45-2:15 Musical Theater Combination Class: Vocal, dance, and acting instruction come together.

2:15-3:15 Art Class and Cool Down

Pick-up at 3:15 pm.

 

Ballet & Art Camp

Where creative minds get classy.

 

For those of you who love the classics, this camp is for you. The emphasis is on Classical Training in Ballet and Visual Fine Arts.

 

Dates: July 2-6th, Monday- Friday

Recommended for ages 10 and up with a special interest in Ballet & Pointe and Art. There will be a small Gallery and Ballet Showcase on Friday at 6:00 pm. Volunteers are encouraged to help with the Showcase and Reception. All art materials are provided. Students are welcome to sign up for the classes individually, as long as classes have not already reached capacity.

 

 

9:30-10:00 am Arrival and Individual Warm-Up Time

10:00-noon Ballet & Pointe Class

[10 minute break-time between 11:05-11:15 am; Dancers allowed to eat snack at this time.]

12:00-12:45 pm Lunch Break. Meals not provided. Please brown bag lunch.

12:45-2:45 pm Art Class*

[10 minute break-time between 1:40-1:50 pm; Artists allowed to eat snack at this time.]

2:45-3:00 pm Clean-Up and Dismissal

 

Summer Dance Intensive

 

Dates: August 6-10, 2018

9:30 am-4:00 pm Monday- Friday

 

Ages 10 and up welcome to participate. All levels welcome. Have you ever wished that you could dance all day? This camp is your dream come true.

Appropriate dancewear or fitness attire required. Tights and leotards are encouraged. Proper footwear is required (dance shoes [foot undeez, pirouettes or turners, or ballet shoes] are mandatory). Sneakers or chucks may be worn for the hip-hop classes.

 

9:30-10:00 am Arrival and Individual Warm-Up Time.

10:00-10:45 am Dance Conditioning.*

15 minute break time. Snack and water encouraged.

11:00-noon Acro Class.

12:00-12:45 pm Lunch Break. Meals not provided. Please brown bag lunch.

12:45-1:30 Leaps, Jumps, and Turns.

5 minute snack break.

1:35-2:35 Ballet/Jazz/Lyrical/Contemporary/Hip-Hop**

5 minute snack break.

2:35- 3:35 pm Improvisational Dance Training and Student Choreography Class.

3:35-4:00 pm Cool Down and Dismissal.

 

*Dance Conditioning includes Flexibility Training, Strengthening, and Cardio

Ballet & Art Camp

Same thing as before, but for an even younger crowd.

Dates: August 16th-20th, Monday- Friday

 

Recommended for ages 4 to 8 with a special interest in Ballet and Art. There will be a small Gallery and Ballet Showcase on Friday at 6:00 pm.

All art materials are provided. Students are welcome to sign up for the classes individually, as long as classes have not already reached capacity.
